Attendance is checked by teachers before giving lectures. Those being late or absent or leaving early will be recorded.
Periodic attendance rate report is done every two weeks to the college executive board and those with low attendance rates will be reminded by teachers or probably OEC student affair office.
Students should ask for a leave from teachers and OEC student affair office in case of not being able to attend the class for proper reasons.
Those with low attendance rates of a certain course are not allowed to take the final examination of the course, minimun 70% for non-degreed students and 70% for undergraduate students. Thus, they will not be able to achieve the credits of the course.
High attendace rate is required for scholarship application and evaluation.
Students with terrible attendance rates might be refused enrollment for further study.
